Arithmetic Generic vs. Concrete study using N400


We ran Arithmetic experiments (PI Dr. Jennifer Kaminski​) to understand how the brain dealt with generic versus concrete math processing. For identity information, the brain favored concreteness in term of efficiency; however, for our numeral targets, event related potentials (ERP) were inconclusive in identifying significant differences.
