Worked on the digital side of building a satellite-based car radio receiver with emphasis on,
Coded Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing design and implementation (Down Sampler, LP Filter, Frequency DeInterleaver, and Differential Demodulator).
Decryptor implementation for conditional access driven by an LFSR.
Digital Design and implementation of a Maximum Ratio Combiner(MRC) for
2 Satellite (TDM) and 1 Terrestrial (COFDM) data streams using VHDL.
Completed 4 Tech. Notes for MRC, COFDM, Decryptor, and Deinterleaver.
Orcad Layout for a Multi Waveform Signal Generator (Part time COOP).
Integration of VHDL code for MRC using Xilinx foundation series SW v3.1i.

Anritsu 24 DS3 Access, Test and Performance Monitoring system involving
Schematic for Backplane interfacing Power, Test, Access, and Control cards.
Preliminary Design and implementation of a high speed MUX at 45MHZ for Access/Test card interfacing LIU, Framers and Bert chips for 3 DS3 Channels.
Low level driver routines for PLD, LIU, and Bert chips.
Modified a Controller card to add TCP/IP capabilities for a shelf system.
Participated in system development cycle from investigation to pilot phases.

I worked on a neuromorphic engineering project, with Dr. Timothy Horiuchi at CSSL, building a 2 gram AM-transmitter to be mounted on a bat to study echolocation.
